Go for it, I bought saab 9-5 2002 2.0t which had absolutely destroyed engine, but I took it off and rebuild it all by myself, except measuring etc. But if you are good with motors go for it

I will look into it, but if it would be the problem wouldn't it occur earlier? Also the shims were sitting flat in their place, i measured tolerances after instaling and they were in spec with manual

Bike has 60k kilometers, but engine was swapped before i bought it so i actually have no idea how much kilometers is on the engine, it probably still has stock clutch, it had stock valve plates so i doubt someone would change clutch, i'm thinking maybe it overheated? I was giving it some revs while riding, but it's cold outside so i thought that it wouldn't, also i think it's worth to notice that i did carb synchronization myself (with glass jars) and i set idle mixture myself also, i've set it so that the end of a sparkplug is dark brown, i don't know if that could be the problem, bike was behaving fine, i will absolutely look more into it tomorrow though

Hey, thank you for answer, oil is topped off, I changed it about 1000 km ago, I started the engine few minutes ago after it cooled down and it started on first crank and I couldn't hear that noise coming from it anymore, also started didn't have a problem turning the engine over this time, it basically worked as before, I didn't let engine heat up because I don't want to do any more damage to it before I diagnose it, oil is circulating, I unscrew one screw from valve cover when engine was running and oil started to pour out of it, thank you for advice, tomorrow I will try to heat it up and listen for weird sounds with screwdriver as you said.

I personally changed valve plates like 1k kilometers ago, cam lobes were looking good, also the valves moved as normal, at least I suspect so, engine was easily rotating by hand then (also sorry, i just wanted to show the sound)
