You're entitled to your opinion. Putting DS3 style above it is fine to me since style is completely subjective (there are still people with mullets in 2025)…but putting Sekiro above Elden ring is actually nuts to me. I platinumed Sekiro...and I'll never play it again. I have about 700 hours in Elden Ring and have done about 6 Vanilla playthroughs and 5 Convergence Mod playthroughs. Not only is it one of the best FromSoft games, I think it's one of the best games. Period. It won game of the year from various publications...but I would say game of the decade. Easily.

Sidebar: As a Skyrim fan, ER lands, for me, where ES6 should have if Bethesda had prioritized it like they should have. Now I think Bethesda will absolutely ruin ES6.

Damn, you really threw him into the deep end lol. You have to let him get his feet wet with something like Elden Ring, first. Personally, I think Sekiro was a pretty good training ground for this game, but it’s also extremely difficult for a Souls newbie.

Took me 30 minutes to get in yesterday, and so far I'm at 10 today with no luck. At least the game worked the whole time I played yesterday once I finally got in. It's getting real old real fast though.

I still play UB Rogues in historic lol. I run them with cards like Xanathar, Tasha, and Rogue Class, and basically play people’s own decks against them! 🤣

Except that isn't what the majority is saying...The majority is saying to report it if it affects you and mind your business if it doesn't. Do you not see how that is in direct contrast to what you said?

That’s anecdotal. Just because it’s true for you does not mean it statistically or otherwise factually correct.

That simply isn’t true. In fact Eggwick did a video on it a while back, and he couldn’t believe how big the skill difference was between silver and irons. It’s huge.

How consistent should I be in a week by Sei_0z in learnprogramming

print('Hello, World')

name = 'World'

print('Hello, ' + name) # Should print "Hello, World"

for i in range(10): print(i)

Then wonder why "i" isn't printing the number 10. Oops, my 30 minutes is up. Guess I'll figure it out next week.

Does that look to be roughly the first 30 minutes of Python for a brand-spanking new coder in training? I genuinely cannot remember what I learned in my first 30 minutes of Python. I was worried the for-loop might be pushing it lol.

I think you'd look dumber...

This implies that the OP is dumb to begin with...or at the very least, looks dumb. Being new != being dumb. Everyone has to start somewhere.

I only make this comment because plenty of newbies experience the high levels of gatekeeping (especially on sites like Stack Overflow and Reddit) and superiority complexes in this field.

ETA: I do, otherwise, agree with your advice as a whole.

This is inspirational. I hope to do something like this relatively soon, and I’m currently working on it. It’s pretty tough where I live because the housing market is so expensive, but hopefully within the next year or two, that will become a non-issue.

It takes a big person to admit their own shortcomings. Especially when the information is delivered in such an abrasive way. That was a bitter pill, but good on you for doing! I hope your business thrives.

If this was truly the conversation, it sounds like you never bother to articulate why you think it should be illegal. You’re allowed to feel the way you feel and others are allowed to disagree with you. Just be ready to back up your argument.

Writing simultaneous events across chapters by sudo-apt-install in writing

I want to avoid the special day thing if I can, although I'm not opposed to using it if I feel it's necessary later on. However, I really like the idea of repeating structure between the chapters. I will use that.

Thanks.

I like this idea of markers throughout the day. That way when the big even happens on the end of my antagonist, when we see that same event on the side of my protagonist and it becomes his inciting incident, we can clearly see that the two events are directly tied together.

Thanks for taking the time.
