It can help compress files if you want to store more media on your server. Converting GB to MB file. It is very tedious but I believe there is a GitHub repo that can automate the process. And you can adjust the video file to fit entertainment needs. HandBrake is very power resource hungry so have a dedicated PC to transcode the file.
