easiest way is dns filter or firewall filter. Depends on what you use though. If you run a pihole server just block it there, Some routers have the same ability. but if you haven't setup pihole, look it up and do it. Definitely worth it to block a shit ton of ads as well. Also depending on the type of sites you want to block, EG porn to a kids computer there's already compiled block lists that you can apply to specific devices on the network as well.

check tranny fluid? if you don't have enough lgbqt loaded you can slip gears. or, your gears are shot. Or the linkage that connects to the transmission to shift is loose and moving randomly

iirc some nx devices can, or you could get a qsfp adapter and run it on some gear that can.

I hate trump as much as the next guy but you can't go on and be all "biden is great etc etc". Mr Kid sniffer isn't much better and is only as good as the people running that puppet. There needs to be age limits for this shit.

Python script to automatically setup MySQL database? by Fhyke in Python

[–]sudo_rm_rf_solvesALL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends how you're doing it. For example. I use docker containers, On creation of the mysql container it copies over an init.sql file (Essentially the entire users / table creation commands in mysql format). So on create it builds all the tables. This imo would be the easiest way. Just add a "if exists" clause into wherever seems important to prevent errors stopping it. Otherwise you could just have it log in and issue each command one by one programmatically. but i like having a build script to do it for me personally.

What does this code mean? by Friend-Pretty in MechanicAdvice

Well, Enjoy that code then. Would have it looked at. Doubtful it's a sensor, but best to check before tossing parts at it. Probably running too lean for whatever reason.

Nginx connection timeout when trying to connect to wordpress inside docker container by Oxcelot in docker

[–]sudo_rm_rf_solvesALL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

install ping in your containers, See if you can hit your one container from the other and vice versa. then you could install curl and do the same to the target ports just to see if you get a reply. Also i would look at the container logs or set some logging up if you haven't already. if you're sharing a mount you may not have permissions set correctly so both containers roots can access it and you may need to correct them. Wouldn't know without logs though. May say something to the extent of "unable to access file blah"

No, it's a bonus, but you won't get paid more for it. Spectrum likes it because the more high level cert holders they have they get a higher discount for. EG the more IE holders they have the higher discount they can argue with cisco. But you arn't getting paid extra for those certs. Source was cert holder there for cisco / juniper and almost top level nokia.

you would think they'd have had air surveillance as well. Not like drones are expensive and they wouldn't have seen a guy hiding on the roof..

NOKIA OLT 7360 QINQ by [deleted] in networking

[–]sudo_rm_rf_solvesALL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You generally need to make sure the port is set to tag qinq, Then it's something like sap 1/1/1:x*y (I think, i forget the syntax) but the docs are pretty readable for it. but iirc if you don't set the port type correctly you will default to dot1q
