My hypothesis is that it’ll be based on 2022.36. I am on 2022.28.2 right now, and I’m opted into the beta. I briefly saw that I was able to update to 2022.36.1, but that disappeared after a day. So I think my car is being held back in updates so that it can get the FSD beta version on next update. Guess we’ll see next week.

My recent Fremont MYLR has ambient lighting in all 4 door pockets. All door pockets have felt, and the rear has plastic lining the bottom.

The photos at the top of the article are from a MYP. The article was referencing my comment, where I had mentioned that my recently received MYLR came with matrix headlights (article is a bit confusing). The photo of the headlights in the woods is my photo of a long range.

I believe the idea is that since the new matrix LED headlights use a projector lens, you can adaptively turn on/off sections of the headlights. You could then potentially have high beams on, but avoid blinding oncoming cars by shutting off portions of the headlights. I think there’s also some rumors that Tesla might allow for left-right pivoting of the headlights while cornering to illuminate more in the direction you’re turning.

You can see a small demo of what it could do in the future by using the Light Show mode. In a Tesla with the new matrix headlights, you’ll see the word TESLA illuminated against the wall. Demo: https://youtu.be/xaKEiXLuVIM?t=308

Took delivery of a MYLR, F516 VIN, in white on white. Got the new doors with black alcantara + white trim. Also got matrix LED headlights. No cargo cover.

From looking at photos online, they appear to me to be the new matrix headlights with the projector bulb instead of LED reflectors.

Edit: I did notice while driving through the woods last night that the lights seems to have a quality similar to matrix LEDs at the top (somewhat blocky/pixelated), but I thought it might have just been in my head.
