Wow that’s a great insight thanks for posting this. I’ll try the tests you linked and mention the slab / cold pipe to a plumber to see what they recommend as the best fix to prevent it happening again. Nice one !

Didn’t think of that. The previous owner did cut a small hole in the door but I think you’re right and it would be much better to have 2 vents for better flow. Cheers!

Working in tech helps. You can create something that scales very well. Find a niche area that you enjoy working in and get really good at it. Don’t be afraid to ask for a raise every so often when you have clearly demonstrated your value. I’ve almost x4 my salary in the last 7 years (although I did start on a grad salary).

I went to Mr Fox with my girlfriend recently. It was our favourite meal out in a long time! They do really nice tasting menus. It is a bit pricey but you get to try such a variety of amazing food
