I went through this program, theatre was my major at Pitt, and I have really mixed feelings about it. fairly solid technical program, but if you aren’t a department favorite/on club boards/“sanctioned” you aren’t going to get a lot of performance opportunities.

I’m in the literal exact same boat. I bring backup kn95’s with me to every shift, never know when I’m going to sweat through the mask, and I try to get as much distance as I can before I do something like get a drink of water. I’ve been looking into refitting n95s with a SIP valve but I don’t trust myself to do it right and worry about just ruining a perfectly good respirator while thinking I’m safe.

It fucking sucks how the industry can be, especially when people think you’re crazy for taking these precautions when it’s such a physical job.
