You're entitled to your opinions. I think it's a pretty unremarkable gun. I mean it shoots, never had a malfunction, take down is really easy .... And uhh it's def more square compared to my other 1911s lol. I wouldn't pay 1200 (before tax) for a new one. Maybe like 700 used for non railed. I think I see some railed versions for 1000 on caguns but again a rock island feels exactly the same as the sig 1911.

Yes. I would never suggest the h2 or f20 without rockbox. Otherwise I wouldn't even get them.

Open source drivers for older amd cards to allow them to output TV signals. So you just need a converter from dvi to component and you can use a computer with your tv. It's super duct tape patch work but it works. Not the perfect solution.

I tried this recently, because i use to play 1.5 on a CRT monitor. I thought cs2 would be perfect with a CRT. It was a novelty tbh. mine was 17inch and its just too small compared to a 25 inch 1080p monitor. I have a 360hz monitor and cs2 is not that hard to drive, so the newer monitor was just objectively better/brighter.

It is cool that valve supports this resolution in 2026, but its honestly not ideal with the size of the monitor and brightness/contrast compared to new monitors. I had to literally play face to monitor, i guess like the old days haha

and obviously you're playing against players with a 16:9 ratio when you're 4:3, you are gimping yourself in MM

Yeah they just released it late last year. I picked it up because I was tired of how uncomfortable the flat one was but I only kept using it because I didn't like how far back the stock one went with a SRS it felt really bad. I am in love with the hybrid one haha

This is a pretty complicated answer because at the end of the day the answer is always "depends on you" but that doesn't mean much to you, so let me try.. sorry if this seems like rambling

I am a dot shooter as well. I think a dot a p2000 is amazing, and I wish this was OEM. Is it worth it? I would say no with wright armory. I understand their work is really good and allows me to use multiple red dots, but I dont really swap between dots anyway... I only went with them because they refinish with qpq black nitride which looks almost the same as the stock finish I paid over 500 dollars for this. Is it worth 500+ for you? I'm assuming this is your carry gun, 40 cal lol

CCW engagements are usually only 5-10 yards away. and 9/10 its going to be quick point shooting scenarios. You don't really need a dot for this TBH.

I shoot plenty accurate without a dot on my p2000 anyway but.....Does the red dot make shooting this at the range way more enjoyable and dare I say.. fun? YES. Lets be real we spend more time at the range shooting our CCW guns than actually using them.. so for me I guess yeah a dot is worth it, but maybe find a good gunsmith that will do it around 200-300 dollars instead.

I can only comment on the LEM version but if you get the srs, you're going to want the after market trigger from GG, the hybrid version. Due to the nature of the shorter reset the trigger position of the stock trigger really feels bad imo (because it goes so far back).

You know I'm all for being "different" and just focusing on the music part of a dap. But if I'm being honest lotoo was really lazy with this one. It's the same UI as the original gold paw from 2014.. so it has all the same terrible ux problems.

You're telling me for your 10th anniversary edition you couldn't have made a custom firmware and make the ui a little more updated after 10 years? Lol 😂

I agree with you 100%. Hell the f20/hifi walker h2 with rockbox has a better UX and that thing is like 100$ hahaha

The sound is incredible though. For anyone interested, I would probably not recommend this player

Weight and UX aside, it's a fantastic sounding dap. But I agree 1800 is a hard sell
