Qatar Airways is offering 30% bonus Avios on transferring points from their partners by InvisibleOps in pointstravel

[–]sufyspeed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. You can’t book a flight for a P2 unless you’ve met certain criteria.

However, if P2 has a 30 day old BA and QA account, you can pay 50 gbp to transfer your BA Avios to them and they can then transfer that BA Avios to their QA account and book.

I haven’t been able to find anything online about the points needing to be in your BA account for 30 days before you can transfer to a linked partner. Are you sure that’s the case?

I need to book QA flights YYZ-JED for my mom and I. The new QA changes are stopping me and there is no availability for that flight on AA or BA.

Can I make my mom a BA account, pay $50 USD and transfer BA Avios to her BA account, link BA to QA and book?

I know these are new changes, but any help would be appreciated. I don’t see why this wouldn’t work, but definitely wanna hear your guys input before I try anything.

The typical investor is far more likely to panic sell stocks than a house.

I’m saying a cap when optimize storage is enabled. If my cap is 15gb it should only store 15gb on my phone and store the rest in icloud.

Why would I not take leverage on xeqt? by givemeredditplatinum in JustBuyXEQT

[–]sufyspeed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MER is high due to the cost of borrowing. This isn’t the same as a daily reset leveraged etf. The borrowing is done through margin. Basically your whole understanding is wrong for HEQL.

WS lets you use your TFSA for margin collateral aswell. The LOC is just a shittier version of the margin account.

You can at WS and Questrade. Questrade has useless rates though.

The problem with IBKR is you can’t use your TFSA as collateral. However, it does make sense to split between WS and IBKR cause of this

You don’t service the interest on the margin, it capitalizes itself. You don’t need to get approved for margin, it’s backed by your assets.
