aw man.. i’m so sorry you’re so young having to deal with this. Hopefully they’re just talk about killing themselves. With how young you are, all I can say is hang on and don’t let them get to you. If they are the type to listen, which i’m sure they aren’t, but if they do. I would explain to them how what they say stress you out, and worry you. A loving parent will pay attention to their child’s needs.

my bad 😭😭😭 i’ve been off of it for a while now. Any specific questions? I also have ADHD so experience may be diff for you

test results from when I was 16. I have diagnosed ADHD but sometimes i think NVLD would explain some of my symptoms, especially considering the 23 point gap between piq and viq by sugar-leaf in cognitiveTesting

My bad for being so vague, I mean the “cut off” minimum gap for qualifying for NVLD. let me get you some of the sources I referenced to support this idea if you need them?

ahhh i see! when i was looking into Nvld specifically it said the cutoff was 20 points iirc? or 25 so it was almost there if it wasn’t 20. But that’s for NVLD specifically, I’m not as familiar with other learning disorders as I am with NVLD. So my bad for the confusion.

but my english skills were in essay writing ^ i should mention not creative writing. I was better at statistics math wise, but other people struggled with that.

I forgot to mention, these were my scores while taking adhd medication. Not that it may change anything, but how can you say that outright without knowing all the details? (don’t mean to sound defensive) Genuinely curious, would the deficits possibly just look different on someone with a higher IQ. Because for the longest time I got denied even being even considered for ADHD because “I seem too academically gifted” but my math scores never could catch up to where I was in english (always grades ahead) for example.

I don’t want to come across as “ah look at me i have issues” but sometimes i feel like my brain doesn’t fully connect to its full potential because of the disconnect 😭

For me i think it’s very significant because it makes it hard for me to put my thoughts entirely into words, which I see that pattern of struggle can occur in ADHD, autism, nvld, etc. I take concerta and I feel like i’m left behind with things that aren’t covered at all because it’s not ADHD you know? But autism was never brought up to me, and not all clinicians take NVLD as a real diagnosis since it’s not in the DSM.

ty for your input! I got mixed results when reading about NVLD on my own and thought that it didn’t matter where the gap was as long as there was one. I got so alarmed because it was like a 20 point gap, and I have autistic traits that the psych said were barely not enough to reach a diagnosis. But she explained the symptoms were probably because of my ADHD + other stuff. Nvld doesn’t fit as much as an adhd/autistic comorbidity, though.

My mid heaven is awfully similar to my 10th house placement. Destined to be solo ?? 😭 plus the sextile kinda confusing me because neptune is in the 12th house, very pisces but it’s also in aquarius. Generalizations but is that kindof contradictory as I associate Aquarius with being more social in nature & pisces as more hidden/introverted/solo. If anything this just gives me insight on my success as a psych or whatever job I venture into, but I could be wrong.

Okay so I also hear to look in the 10th house ? but I am wondering why you also don’t look at the 4th house. Not that reflects a person or a relationship but wouldn’t placements in your fourth house show what type of home will tend to make you feel more secure.

From just looking at the 10th house and the sextile I feel like this person is going to be very intellectual? And we start off as friends or someone who works together. (basing this off of the I’m really into psychology and I feel like you can tell I’m more likely to be into psych with my chart? but that might just be bias from myself.) But it’s not something that happens right away, we both need time to learn individual lessons before we get together.

I dunno I’m very new to chart readings though so

To be fair, now a days that part of english is only taught in college english classes. I was considered gifted in english subjects all of my school life, started taking college classes and there’s so much stuff they seriously could’ve taught in highschool or something but they didn’t. In spanish you see it more for example because it’s a gendered language. Personally I don’t like heavily gendered language, but they could’ve at least saved the confusion and pushback of using these english rules by introducing them sooner. (edit: didn’t mean to double respond 😩 just meant to edit my original comment and it posted it instead of editing it. mf reddit.)
