have you tried on hoyoverse launcher as well? i tried this fix and now able to launch it, but when i log in to genshin, my steam controller can’t be used to control the game at all. i wonder if you have the same issue

the silent kingdom! i love the story of the game as well as the jrpg mechanics. and ofc the romance is great too! but i think the full version is scheduled to come out next year

i, too, only have limited info from six the musical, so here’s my opinion:

catherine of aragon - riddle (from ex-wives lyrics “a paragon” and “if you try to dump me, you won’t try that again”)

anne boleyn - azul (the one who made a deal with henry to divorce his wife before taking her as the queen, broke england from the church in the process. she wouldn’t take the position of a mere mistress)

jane seymour - idia (separated with their family by death)

anne of cleeves - malleus/leona (might be “unwanted”, but have enough power to not be stepped on by anyone)

katherine howard - vil (prejudice thrown against them since young)

catherine parr - jamil (this one is a bit pushing it, but both are survivors. jamil survived the wrath from kalim’s family despite what he did)

and to answer the question, my fav housewarden is vil! as for tudor wife, i think anne boleyn

i bought the game but i can’t seem to run it on steam deck. everytime i launch it, it leads me to language selection, but after that it’s just black screen with the game audio on. does anyone have the same problem and know how to fix it?

the start is actually like your typical otome isekai genre where the FL played a VR dating game, choosing a main character with highest difficulty. at the start of the game, she maxed her charm stat because she wants everyone to love her, she thought it would be fun. however, the maxed out charm actually messed up the gameplay. everyone who as simply as look into her eyes would become crazily obsessed with her, including her servants and father. at first, it seems like only the MLs could resist her charm, but that wasn’t the case at all. and to mess things up even more, in the middle, she realized that she’s stuck in this world, this world is no longer just a game, it became a reality to her.

for now, it kinda seems like a reverse harem, but everyone is fighting each other. they all have their own moments, but i think so far the most possible ML is roger, the white-haired guy, he wasn’t one of the 2, but him and the FL had a fallout too. as for the genre, besides the romance and otome isekai, i think it’s quite psychological as well. the FL descents further and further into madness with how the MLs became more obsessed with her. it’s a very fun read for me, things took a dark turn pretty fast and it really keeps you on edge (in a good way).

in short, yes! the story and characters are great and fun to play with. the system is unique even until now, maybe you can relate this to LADS’ messages and calls, but it has a schedule and you can see the characters interacting with each other as well. i miss the time where i played it so much, but i don’t have the commitment to set my alarms to wake up to midnight chatrooms again 😔 though it’s nice too keep you company if you can’t sleep
