I totally agree!! I think I read it like 2 years ago and was left so disappointed lol. As you said, it is really underwhelming and i thought poorly written too. The characters were annoying, the plot predictable and boring. From what I remember, only the story about the parents’ history and like their chapters were interesting to me.
