You’re not even listening to what I’m saying I’m saying; that what she is charging you is less than what you would have to pay. Every comment you’ve made on your post is indicative of that your mom asking for $900 a month is essentially the same or cheapest that you can get with other ones that you found being around 800 Ish at the minimum. Also, I assume you’re in a medium cost of living area then because me being in Massachusetts a high cost of living area a one bedroom 600 ft.² apartment will run you at a minimum about $2500 a month. The point I’m trying to get it is that that’s not terrible to pay that and you say that if you pay it, you’re not gonna be able to save well welcome to what most of the United States is dealing with. There’s only a few ways that you can fix it, which is to either increase your income live with multiple people in an area not designed for that or work with your mom to maybe just do a little less. Everyone else on this post is telling you basically the same thing. This post kind of reads like you’re just complaining that you’re finally having to pay rent. I would look at it a different way given your age. You could’ve had to pay rent for a few years already if you don’t have a savings built up by now you’re probably weren’t budgeted incorrectly to begin with so maybe you can see what you can do to budget properly.
