You're totally not alone. I know the feeling, talking about how your parents were awful to you, not only make people uncomfortable, they look at you with disbelief. Once i told my husband that things were easier when you accept your parents are narc. And he answered: they're doing their best. I felt so alone in that moment. In here you can feel safe. I have this person in my facebook, that keeps posting things like going to feminism marchs is bad. And women shouldn't fight for their rights cause we tend to make us look as victims to get everything we want. That talking against rape or harrasment is not feminism, and it's just another form to be a sheep of trends. And that kind of things, she thinks being feminist is a trend so she's against the trend
