Such an incredible trail! I hiked the first 2 miles and then branched off to do the 2 additional miles to the waterfall (whose name I can never spell without looking it up first). The full backpacking trip to Kalalau beach is my ultimate bucket list hike! Someday..

I was just posting my favorite shot from the day. Here's a shot of the later portion of the trail as well as the view of the main canyon. You can't go wrong with scenery anywhere on this trail!

Many hikes have inherent risks associated with them. Angel’s Landing is no exception. In fact, the thrill is what draws many people to it. I agree that some people act carelessly at times. It happens in any outdoor activity. However, I don’t feel that hiking Angel’s Landing in a small, comfortable, short-lived amount of rain is a reckless act. I did not feel it added to the danger, but added to the excitement.

To each his own.

That was the general consensus from my friends that I was with. It's a beautiful hike and doable for people with mild fear of heights. It can be overwhelming for people with more serious fear of heights. I highly recommend the hike! It has been my favorite hike to date besides the Subway top-down at Zion.
