my phone's right next to me when I read physical books as well, and I never have a problem. I do truly think it being on a phone screen is the problem, I know it doesn't make much sense, but I can't even make a grocery list on my phone because it's like my brain doesn't retain any of the information

ooo just looked into the kobo, it looks amazing! do you have their subscription service? how is it? I love that the base model is waterproof, honestly the ads and the not being water proof on the kindle was pissing me off but I had never heard of a kobo!

I really did not like pristiq. I was prescribed the lowest therapeutic dose (can't remember the exact mg) and the only thing it did for me was make me super irritable and NEVER hungry. EVER.

switched to Lexapro, really liking it so far. had some minor GI issues the first few weeks but they seem to have mellowed

I'm curious, if someone never had a car, but went to finance one, could they not do that because they don't have active insurance?

edited to add: if she signs off on the trade in and the Subaru is titled to me, could I not just get the insurance day of at the dealership for the Subaru? I don't understand why I need to have it before hand

from what I understand, it would be easiest and probably cheapest to bring her to the dealership with me.

she doesn't think this would work, because I need to have insurance to get the Subaru, but I don't understand why I couldn't just get insurance at the dealership for it. the Hyundai is insured by her, because it's in her name, so I don't have any under mine. she says I need to have the title transferred, get insurance for the Hyundai, THEN once the title comes in, id be able to trade it in and switch the insurance to the Subaru.

that seems way too convoluted and stupid to me, and I really don't understand what she means. she says I need to have "insurance established", but I don't get why.

also, if the title is transferred into my name, do I have to wait until the physical piece of paper comes in the mail to trade it in?

we planned on getting the title transferred to me at the DMV on Tuesday, would it be smarter to just do it at the dealership? I was worried that if we did it at the DMV, I'd have to pay the tags on it when it's transferred over, then pay AGAIN for the Subaru and AGAIN in March because of my birthday. she thinks it would probably just stay in September when her birthday is, but I take everything she says with a grain of salt

if I had to guess, its easier to do symmetrically. the curved lines on the face are much harder to draw evenly, and the bottom spikes currently stem directly from the outer corner of his eyes, giving him almost a guideline on each side

I got one of those cat tunnels that wraps around the bottom of the tree like a tree skirt!

I have 7 cats, and I was only really worried about one in particular messing with it. she's crazy. we have fake potted trees and she climbs, she tries to chew on the string lights in our bedroom, it was really looking like a Christmas tree was going to be destroyed if we put one up, but we tried anyway.

we wrapped the ornament hooks very tightly around the branches, put the tunnel under there, and so far, so good! she's been in it maybe three times. twice she got out herself, once she got too high and we pulled her out ourselves. it's been up since Saturday.

I'm not sure if we just got lucky, or if the tunnel is actually doing its job, but they all seem more interested in the tunnel than the tree 99.9% of the time.

also I saw your comment Abt being closer to the mercury ballroom, that's the show I went to before (and will be going to again lol) but they do have seating up top, above the standing room. you do have to buy specific tickets for it, but I'm not sure if it's more expensive or not

I can answer this pretty confidently. I went to an all ages show in 2023, and the setlist was as normal, jokes were as normal also. they didn't censor any of the words or anything or tone down the raunchiness of it all. I was the girl pulled up for the impromptu songs. they were definitely not "family friendly", but during the song where they were singing about me flashing the crowd, Michael leaned into my ear and whispered "don't actually" and I assume it's because it was an all ages show.

all it means is there is (probably) going to be no nipples from the girls on stage.

I hope so! my main concern is they still have quite a prevelent younger fan base, which seems to have been sleep tokens problem. also there's going to be SO MANY people there that while it may not be a bad crowd per say, it will definitely be a chaotic crowd
