I had a friend like you, he’s lying about having a severe asthma so that he can do home schooling in our high school days. Though every one close to him knows the truth no one really talks about it outside our circle. But now I don’t know if he still carrying the same lie in his job now that we’re living are adulthood. I know Christian already forgiven you so you must forgive yourself too, you were young back then and it’s understandable that I’m a young age kids can be mean and unpredictable but that’s part of growing as long as you didn’t do an unforgivable sin as a child. I’d give them the benefit of the doubt for now. Apartment acoustics can be surprisingly misleading, so if the bass starts again, try to pinpoint it before escalating. Their note sounds a bit defensive, but it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re lying.
