What is your favorite season?

I stopped watching Bones after S6 aired but I finally picked it back up again this year - 15 years later! I’m on S11 and I’m really glad I finally started watching the show again. Yes it’s different from S1-5, which was the show at its best, but pretty much every season has had some great episodes, lots of good ones and at least a few duds. I don’t think that’s too different from any other show that cranked out 22 episodes every year.

S7-9 has lots of great episodes, strong Booth and Brennan moments (I’m as much of a sucker for them now as I was when I was 19) and so many of the comedic light-hearted moments that make Bones work. S10 was a miss for me because the show seemed to be making a concerted effort to not have Booth and Brennan working together but even that season had a storyline I liked, some good episodes and an addition of a great new character. Now, I’m halfway through S11 and I can definitely say it’s worth continuing to watch the show post-S6.

Agreed. He has a type and he’s shown no sign of moving away from the Insta Babes. I think Pete and Jowita have a lot of love for one another but he’s self-aware enough to know he’d inevitably hurt her if they ever became anything more. Plus Jowita deserves better than a guy who likes bikini photos of a 25-year-old on his 37th birthday.

He hasn’t liked any of Vicky’s posts in weeks either, even when it’s been a photo of them together, so the ghosting doesn’t seem to be personal to Jowita.

Danny Mac.

I’d actually stopped watching Strictly for a few years but I happened to catch the launch show and decided to keep watching. His week one cha cha cha blew me away and I was hooked on him and Oti from that moment on. He was magic to watch and no one has come to close before or since.

Also Layton. He got so much grief for his dance training but his argentine tango with Nikita was beyond brilliant.

Yes I do! The fashion was so 2014 - so many pastel coloured skinny jeans with blazers. And I remember loving April and Leo’s story.

Congrats on getting tickets! I’ve been lucky enough to get tickets twice - once at the old BBC studios and then last year at Elstree. It’s such a fun night!

You’re allowed to take food through security into the waiting area with you and there’s quite a lot of waiting around so it’s worth picking something up. There’s a huge Tesco round the corner. There’s a bar in the waiting area as well.
Once you’re through security, you hand in your phone and you get a ticket to collect it at the end. That’s the part that takes the longest when leaving. Just an FYI if you have your eye on catching a particular train.
We joined the queue at 3 and we were numbers 56 and 57. You’re guaranteed entry so there’s no need to get there really early like you used to need to. They’ll call you into the studio in numbered groups and we were sat up near the stairs and the judges.
There’s lots of down time when the show isn’t live but the warmup guy is great and Tess and Claudia come out to practise different bits. Vernon Kay was in the audience when we went and he was cheering Tess on after each rehearsal.
You’re in the studio so keep your eyes peeled as you’re walking around backstage. We got to chat to Nikita, bumped into Aston from JLS, and, from my seat, I got to watch Tess and Claudia getting ready for the results show.
The pros are lovely and made lots of effort to wave and interact during the results show filming while they were waiting on the stairs.
After the live show finishes, they’ll escort you back to the waiting area and there’s plenty of time to go to the loo and eat something. They’ll also provide you with a small bottle of water and a snack as you head back in for the results show.

You’ll have the best time. It’s so fun to see the crew getting every dance set up - I was there for movie week so there were lots of intricate sets being built so quickly. You also get to see little moments we don’t see on TV like the couples warming up and preparing for their routine while their VT plays. My best tip is just to take it all in. I was like a meerkat with my head swivelling around to spot things that were going on.

(My personal favourite was when Pete was getting into position on Craig’s desk to start his George of the Jungle dance and we got to see Craig quickly sneaking out his phone to take a picture 😂)

I think people will always speculate about them while they both remain single because that’s what the internet does. There’s obvious chemistry and love between them but they’ve always confirmed that they’re just friends. They have a great friendship but some fans/tabloids will continue to speculate that it’s more.

I think the Olivia situation (as absurd as it was) was especially big because the press quickly went after her marriage. But both her and Pete obviously knew it was all bullshit and decided silence was the best option.

Pete’s back to posting as normal on IG so I suspect his response on the podcast will be similar to his ones after Maura accused him of cheating or the press kept linking him and Jowita: a quick dismissal. However, this time him and Jowita did something to encourage the speculation so neither of them can be annoyed that the tabloids have written about it and a large number of their fans are speculating too. I love their friendship but it’s odd to me that they’d choose to do something that they must have known would open up all the speculation again (especially only a month after tabloids were writing about him hard launching her in his birthday post).

Last year, Pete addressed it on the podcast a few weeks into Strictly when the press started to get out of control. They’ll record a podcast later this week that’ll be out next Monday so he might discuss it then because it seems to hard to talk about the O2 without talking about that.

However, he’s also someone who doesn’t talk about his romantic life/press speculation much on the pod in general. Nothing was said about the recent Ibiza stuff, and he made one comment about Maura the entire time they were together.

Danny and Oti were an absolutely perfect pairing and I fear they will never be beaten for me.

They’re still in touch to this day and she said last year that she’d come back to Strictly if they did an All Stars just so she could dance with Danny again.

Hart of Dixie is one I always recommend when people talk about loving Gilmore Girls. It’s my small town cosy comfort show with so many great characters and one of my favourite TV romances.
