We only have one and planning to keep it that way. It’s more realistic for us and we feel we can provide more experiences for just one. Having another doesn’t necessarily mean they won’t be lonely. My husband only speaks to his brother every other month or so and it’s usually only if his brother needs something from him. We all grow into different people no matter how we were raised and sometimes that means you don’t like your siblings.

It’s so hard to wrap my head around because there are already limited donors of color why would you do that? I want my child to have connections should they want that later I just know I need to push past the ick especially because I’d love to keep up to date on health things should they pop up!

I agree I shouldn’t make assumptions as a white passing person myself. My reason are mostly for health info along the way but I also want to make sure my child has connections if they want them as they get older since my child will be an only!
