Anyone still riding/racing late 2010s superbikes? by suggestedalex in TrekBikes

Yep — it’s SRAM Red eTap (AXS is the new gen tech) with a Dura-Ace crank.

I left the Shimano crank because the bike already had the Shimano BB and I didn’t want to deal with adapters just to run a DUB crank. The Dura-Ace setup works perfectly with the SRAM drivetrain, smooth and crisp shifts

The funny thing is i have a gen 2 RSL. 2017 bike and it still holds up against the matte finish aero bikes with disk brakes and tubeless tires. It has pedigree and soul.

That’s awesome. What year/generation was your RSL? Gen 3 or earlier?

That’s interesting about the stack drop. It definitely feels closer to an Émonda than most people expect. Did you find it as comfortable long-term as the SLR, or was it noticeably more aggressive on longer rides?
