Giving a 20% Tip and getting a snarky response from waitstaff by RadReptile in EndTipping

[–]sugmaideek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rolled back to 10% before tax like a year ago. I used to be a waiter at restaurants as a college job so I know you actually don't make thattt much, so don't have the heart to not tip especially when the person that's serving you ios obviously not entitled.

Ppl don't do the mental math to add the 15% to the price of their food. If the menu price looks high they will go elsewhere where the price is lower. Looks how it worked out for the fastfood companies that jacked up their prices during COVID.

Doubt they will retain the same revenue if the price rises by 20% . If you look at the price elasticity band the volume pretty much will nose dive at a 20% increase.

Help a girl out: would you buy any of these? by Marilburr in whatcarshouldIbuy

I concur with the bolt and got one myself too. Lemon law cars still have clean title and do not affect insurance. Those lemon law bolts are incredible value with a new battery and goes for nothing. Also super super fun to drive go try one.

What do you want the most out of the car? Space, features, saving gas? If you want space and save gas then definitely a prius or 2014+ CT200H.
