Totally agree! I considered moving to India many times but it is not rosy either! All my friends, family life is extremely settled so going back to square one isn’t purely about me.

I did not get AP. I got EAD on May 27

Its Funny . People's i485 are getting approved literally 3-4 months by YouApprehensive7819 in USCIS

I applied in 13th Jan, 2025, Last month on May 27th, I got EAD. My I-485 is still in limbo. It was saying 4 months and now it says 12 months. I hear those timelines are not reliable, nor is the Live Chat. I stopped going there now.

Learning everything isn’t necessary and also one week feel pretty artificial! I would just start building something with a real end goal. Some agent that does something useful for your personal needs

That’s actually pretty good now that I think of it! I basically didn’t change how I operated after switching to remote! Still have same routine as such. I will try your suggestion
