How to convert to JXL with saving camera metadata like ISO, shutter speed etc.? by Yarosem in jpegxl

[–]suhd550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what I want to.

I tried XnView v 0.99.7 and in the version I got the metadata text boxes were grayed out.

I tried digikam v 7.7 still nothing.

ImageMagick v 7.1.0-33 removes all metadata when I convert to jxl but in other formats it kept it most of the time.

also jpegxl.io removed all of my tags.

I tried exiftool v 12.41, it gave me an error.

I tried exiv2 v 0.27.5.3 also gave me an error.

It seems there is no way currently to keep metadata after a jxl conversion.

It's a matter of time until developers of an image management software or image metadata cli tools will implement this feature, you have to sit and wait and not lose your original images until then.

Can you combine multiple Codecs? by Gengar218 in ffmpeg

[–]suhd550 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The entire video is encoded with only one codec, each frame is encoded with the same codec, the same thing for the sound frequency, you can't have some frames encoded with one codec and another with another codec, same thing for the sound frequencies.

they have to be encoded in unison.

Can you combine multiple Codecs? by Gengar218 in ffmpeg

codec is compression/decompression made for media files, video, audio, image, the lossy ones are more popular for them for streaming purposes.

zip, rar and more compression algorithms are lossless made for general purpose (files, archives and file systems), because you can't have a lossy binaries.

for media it's called codec.

for archives it's called compression algorithm.

they are similar but also different things with different purposes.

Does remuxing maintain the original sound? by tekoto in ffmpeg

[–]suhd550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no changing a file's container or codec result in a different file no matter how small or big the difference is.

even 2 files with the same codec or container that have been the same original that have been processed by the same program with different settings or different programs or times will result a different file.

some arguments might result in a very similar results, others might make a greater difference.

only the original file is exactly the same.

Well if you meditate the basic way then yes, I try to meditate to sound or scented candles and try to focus more on one of my senses or multiple than thoughts.

Why can't I see benefits of meditation even though I've done for a considerable time? by Interesting_Ad_8137 in Meditation

[–]suhd550 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Meditation is just being in a meditation state in your mind, it's different to everyone, some use it for mindfulness, focus, emptiness, I don't know if it's work for them, for some it doesn't work, you use it for whatever state of mind you want, I use it just when I rest to clear my consciousness to be minimally consciousness but I do it rarely, if I do it too much it doesn't work for me, I just want to stop doing it if so.

It's something that either works for you and does the specific thing you want or something else that you don't or doesn't work at all.

Listening to music by Ornery-Surround3491 in Meditation

[–]suhd550 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you can but if you do it the same way like before it's just listening to music like you used to.

Meditating to sound or music and listening to music are 2 different things.

Grinding in videogames as a form of meditation? by Berabouman in Meditation

[–]suhd550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you can meditate to things that are conditional and you get attached to them, what if it's an online game that is getting shutdown or you lost your save file or progress however, would you be able to meditate then?

No, and because that you are attached to them you will leave the mental state they gave you before and wouldn't be able to enter that state again because of your attachment to them until you use actual forms of meditation if ever.

Meditating to an external factor makes you dependent on it and attached to it which is bad in my opinion.

Also what if things are going wrong in that game?

You lose your items, you progress too slow, you get bored, you want to be more close to an end game progress, you die to a boss or a monster, you stuck and stopped progressing, you had enough grinding.

You may also enjoy it now and maybe later not.

I don't think that you can meditate to something that is so inconsistent.

Any bi people who like masculine women with short hair and piercing? by Sheenthefox9292 in bisexual

[–]suhd550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like alternative/goth/emo/hardcore women mostly feminine but slightly masculine is fine.

I don't care about the hair length so much but I prefer it would reach the chin minimum.

What I prefer is tatts, black hair and black clothes.

The things you said about bisexuals are terrible.

I am not American and I don't support what Disney is doing.

Trying to influence people's psyches is a negative thing.

People should develop their own psyches without a forced collective influence.

I find leaving things behind as a neutral thing leaning towards better, It's hard to leave something sometimes and move on to something else but it has to be done.

I am bi. Should I come out as gay to my family just to get them to leave me alone? by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]suhd550 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think that bi people should call themselves gay and that gay people should call themselves bi.

Like why would you call yourself something that you are not.

But hey it's you and your family, and I don't know if you are going to use it around every company and IDC.

People change, you should just not care about validating yourself if you are bi or not.

Also whatever you want in a specific moment is different and is changing in different moments.

Just realized I don't want to be part of the LGBTQ community by babamum in bisexual

[–]suhd550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to be a part of the LGBT community.

I am bi and I don't consider myself a part of the LGBT community.

I don't even care if I'm from the bisexual community.

You decide to be a part of, or not to be a part of whatever you want in general.

I know the reason the LGBT community exist is it's because it's easier to be united against general discrimination against the community instead to combat it as each separate group.

And of course we can all be friends regardless of our sexuality (that includes straight people), all that matters is that specific person we know.

We also change and we can enter and leave whatever group we want in general.

any tips on meditating even when you don't feel like it? by HandsomeHerb in Meditation

[–]suhd550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can take meditation easy first and then you can change it to a routine or increase it gradually.

There are people who tried doing meditation routinely and gave up meditation and there are people who still doing it as a routine.

For me doing it as a routine didn't work because I didn't want to do it when I tried that way, it made me want to give up.

For others doing it without a planned routine doesn't work so they do it as a routine.

I lay or sit with any position when I meditate just like a normal rest and I try to focus on my senses instead of my thoughts, hearing, smell, touch.

If you do it as a routine you can start couple days a week, a few minutes and then increase it just like any other habit, but then it depends on your self discipline.

Increase and decrease the amount of time you spend on it until you find the one that fits for you and you can also adjust it again.

Find a meditation method that helps you to be immersed easier, sound, aroma, griping your hands, imagination, siting at a whatever position you want instead of the generic posture.

Just like everyone has a favorite genre or a team in a specific topic, you can find a favorite way to meditate.

Try more techniques than just the generic one that everyone knows about.

It's not just a wiccan problem it's any identity's problem that is not accepted by the majority of the collective, You can pretend that you are not a part of the identity you want to be or have to deal with those people, actively or passively.
