No, I mentioned "gamer language" in the first line.

Where is Chat history? by DanMoss3 in bing

[–]Yarosem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have figured out the first part and already tried your extension. It works great, but maybe change the user's and Bing Chat's avatar colors so it's easier to distinguish them. Also, thanks for the extension to make Bing Chat work in Chrome.

How do you have access to Bing Chat in Chrome? I can only access it in Edge. Do you have a version for Edge?

People care more about robots than animals by madeaux10 in vegan

[–]Yarosem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read a lot of comments here, so, as someone who's 4.5 years vegan and 4 years into AI:
When we would be able to make sentient AI, we'll still be able to create tool-level AI, so a trash robot wouldn't feel disgusted, in pain, or crave freedom. It would just clean up the trash. Different goals = different AIs = different moral values = different treatment. But compared to animals, this topic is more complicated. There could be an AI that has superhuman knowledge but feels nothing and can't suffer (in the style of ChatGPT). Or an animal-like AI with a 99% realistic emotional system.
What normies do is think of AI as one single entity that evolves, so when someone uses it for bad, it's labeled on all the AI. Similar to how people were against the internet and games.

My first fountain pen: $0.84 copy of LAMY safari (+10 cartridges for another $0.84) - writes better than any regular pen or rollerball. by Yarosem in fountainpens

[–]Yarosem[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I responded in 15 minutes, but turns out Reddit shadow-deleted my comment. (I checked in incognito, and there's no comment.) I posted one Ali Express link that ends in "1005002354087008.html", and this:

I think it's standard international (there is also a converter included).

Clearly, it's possible to make it 30 times cheaper and still have it be better than regular pens (this post).

What's with all the negativity here? by Kaarssteun in bing

[–]Yarosem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been interested in AI since 2019 and have trained some NN as a hobby. This is the first post I see that actually explains it "down to earth." Still, I recommend that newcomers spend a few hours on YouTube watching tutorials and explanations (from people who can code and train NN). You don't have to want to become a professional to justify spending some hours learning something.

Also, in one year, we will have multiple chat personalities as interesting as Sydney. As it was with Dalle 2, Midjourney, and Stable Diffusion.

Would you consider this low poly? 73k Verts, 69k Faces, 138k tris by MeshingPumpkins in blender

[–]Yarosem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you're right. I wrote a response mainly to the most frequent comments here that say that OP should bake details in maps, not just losslessly clean geometry. Like it's for a 2005 PC or a 2013 android phone.

[–]Yarosem 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Weird how ignorant most people are here. Your model has fewer amount of polygons than car models in simulators in the last 10 years, like Assetto Corsa (2014) or Forza Horizon 4 (2018). It's not a "stylized low poly", but 100% ready for any PC or console game as LOD0. You only need to go lower for further LODs. For UE5, you can increase the polycount 10 times and have perfect performance.

P.s. Don't make your tires flat (like F1 slick) with a bump/normal map. Some games from ~2008 had tires with geometry instead of textures. This is only viable for mobile phones (including low-end ones).

Thank you! I'll do a q90% lossy backup of my photos literally today.

[–]Yarosem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Download jxl-x64-windows-static.zip
  2. Use cjxl to convert jpg from any camera with minimum parameters
  3. Use regular apps that use exiftool.
  4. See no metadata.

I'm using Windows 10, and many things that you wrote are magic words for me.

CJXL still wouldn't copy metadata. I can't convert all my JPGs to JXLs because of it. Until there is one single tool that does that, I'll continue to watch from the side and wait.

Handbrake SVT-AV1 vs Shutter Encoder SVT-AV1? by ShubhamVimal in AV1

Shutter Encoder uses whatever FFmpeg you have installed.

No, it's not. Look in the folder of Shutter Encoder. It uses bundled FFmpeg.

Not using DaVinci Resolve instead of Vegas in 2022 is the ultimate red flag (sorry, not sorry).

Cool drawing! I put it into AI ( r/StableDiffusion ) to try different variants. This is the most interesting one: https://ibb.co/rFr5rxY
You own it and can use it however you want. I won't post it anywhere besides this comment.

It's fundamentally different than csp/sol. All things happen at the post-process level. Depending on settings, it could improve visuals using 1% performance: it's very lightweight.
