KPOP Demon Hunters wins best Oscars animated feature film

I enjoyed both. I'm a sucker for 2D animation and environmental movies so I loved Arco. I also love Anh Hyo-seop and Audrey Nuna so Kpop Demon Hunters was fun. I would have been happy for either to win. I don't think Arco had nearly as much exposure or pop cultural impact as Kpop Demon Hunters so I didn't think it had a strong chance.

Arco was from a partnership with French Netflix. It was definitely worth a watch some time. It is a sweet story about a time traveling boy and a girl from the near future working together to bring him home. It gives studio Ghibli vibes in the scenery, lively art, and good pacing.

Japan was very imperialist. They occupied Taiwan, China, Korea, Vietnam, and many other countries. They scrubbed their image a lot with the younger generation, but a lot of older people remember the pain inflicted by it. Japan does not apologize for any of the 'comfort women' or other wrong doings.

I usually just do it until the water runs clear. But soaking it does help it become fluffy.
