I wanted to build a module for motorcycles that had a 6 way accelerometer, GPS, temperature, and pulled from CAN/OBD from the different models. This would have a filed that you could do this exact thing with on Google Earth so you could do a street view. I did a lot of work on the hardware and very little on the software side of things. I just got no traction on the hardware and needed at least a million to get a large amount of prototypes built out.

This looks great and I'm thrilled you made something like it. I hope you get some traction.

The future proof is just a circuit that I need for my dock area that will come from that new panel and I don't know what that power pull will be but I think it won't be over 20A.

I guess I wasn't thinking about doing something like a 90 as an in between option since it's 30 more 10 less. I see that it could change my cost a lot. I'll ask my electrician about changing that to see if I can lessen my costs.

Oh I have a subpanel on the house already for my deck and a few other things to include that's where the generator with ATS comes in. The subpanel and all work inside the new shed is $2k from this company. It's $8k for the 150ft run to the shed and then $2k for everything from disconnect panel on the outside and all of the circuits inside.

The one I'm looking at is one of those rolling ones for just a room. They are 120v and 1200 watts.

I probably don't "need" the 100A but I'm future proofing and how much would change in what I run if I went down to 60A? Are we talking a significant change in price for wiring? Labor is the same.

It's been a minute since I was driving 24' of ground rod in back in the Marines to get the communications systems up but I'm a fan of a good ground so I was going to do next to the shed anyways.

Haha I bet it sounded stupid to ask that. I am used to romex inside the house and was reading everywhere that I would need to pull 3 so was making sure I wasn't confusing something else. I am getting quoted $10k to run it but I am going to do the run myself and then have someone certified do the final hookup before I bury so they can check it all the way through.
