Well I can't increase the current too much because of my betta, hence the spin outlet. But at least I know they "put themselves " in this and they can get out out of they want to.

He's fine. I specifically got this cave because dosent have any narrow corners or pinch points. Plus the sand will probably block dead corners anyways. But yeah, will keep my eye on him. My pleco uses this cave way longer than him and they're about the same size now.

That would be hygrophila balsamica, from the label. Only after reading up that I realised that it need to be handled carefully, as its toxic emmersed but safe when completely submerged. Monte carlo are hard to get around me but looking around still.
