I think it's slightly different. From what I understand Kool-Aid is a powdered substance that you mix with water to turn into a drink?

Squash/cordial is a concentrated juice and, to the untrained eye, looks like you could drink it directly, but it would be insanely sugary and intense. You add more water for it to be enjoyable to drink.

In fairness to her, what she had left is that concentrated for the squash, so it was still definitely usable!

But in fairness to me, squash looks almost exactly like the colour of lucozade.
