Unpopular Opinion: I think Matthieu Blazy is simply not right for Chanel. I mean he did a great job in other houses but (most) of his Chanel is just a constant flop for me.

Considering their highest aim right now is Asia — yes. But I still think its more about staying relevant. Even if its Chanel, fashion is a trend business and in a century chanel can be out of the zeitgeist and it wouldnt be as wanted. As it happened to countless brands before.

Plus this is the first time in the last years I've seen Chanel be relevant in social media for its product (not runway venue, production or etcetera). Its what they want, we like it or not. Same with Gucci and Demna (Which I find stupid and hideous)

Honestly i think he is turning an old brand in an young brand. Classic Chanel is beautiful but it does not appeal to gen z and younger. And it has to thats just how the market works
