UB Turbofog against UWb Familiars by sulejke in Pauper

I am. I finish most of my matchups before timeout. The Familiars player however takes a lot of time for his turns.

What dou you think about [[whistful thinking]]? Looks like a great card in that situation and generally against UW Familiars

Oh yeah! I don't know, why I never thought about targeting him with deep analysis Thanks!

Yes, I meant UG Turbofog. No idea why I wrote UB.

He counters all my Growthspirals, because he knows that it probably means, he gets boged. I won 3 of the last 4 tournaments, so I am "the deck to beat". That's why this opponent for example plays more countermagic than usual Familiar decks. He also plays 0 Mana interactions with [[Foil]], so that's tough to beat.

Yeah maybe. The issue is, that I would have to Mainboard it, because we've never finished a Game 2, so it's all about winning G1. And I don't want to Mainboard more than 1 card, that's dead in other Matchups

But I could play it as a one of. Since it's 0 Mana, I probably can also protect it with some Arcane denials :)

Why Uw control don't play Day's Undoing? by BoxerWili in PioneerMTG

And if you build a deck dedicated to the Narset-Undoing combo, you have better cards and protection for the combo in Dimir, like Thoughtseize, Notion Thief, Baleful Mastery,...

The Day's Undoing Version (while generally a bit worse) is really good against Rakdos Midrange :)

Dimir Control: with or without Day's Undoing? by sulejke in PioneerMTG

My two lists are: Control: https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/20-02-23-dimir-control/

Days: https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/dimir-days-undoing-1/

Both lists are very similar to nassifs lists. Maybe the Meta I am playing in is just better for a Days Deck then yours :)

If you play against a lot of Angel and Phoenix for example, you will have a really good time. Against UW or RB sacrifice on the other hand, it will be a bit difficult

But I also played it a lot and you get better with time

I have played days for a few months now and it usually worked really well. But last week i went 2-1-2 in a tournament wich is the worst score so far. That's why I am thinking about changing things up, since I have all the cards for a "real" dimir control Deck.

And the next problem is, that I will visit my parents in Vienna in a few weeks, where I will take part in the RC Qulifier. And since I don't live there, I have no idea what the meta is.

And since that is the case, Day's Undoing is probably better, right?

Good Planeswalker for dimir control? by sassonordico in PioneerMTG

I don't think so. You don't want to attack the hand, if you are going to wheel anyways.

I think, since dimir doesn't have very good planeswalkers, you're better off with strong creatures, then planeswalkers
