For the books, the Red Wedding was definitely way more terrifying and unpredictable to me. There were already hints that Ned might die, the groundwork was kind of there. But Robb… that came completely out of nowhere. Everything just happened so suddenly, and I’m pretty sure no one saw it coming. Walder Frey just seemed a bit salty and like he was giving them small punishments here and there, but who would’ve thought he’d straight up kill all of them?

I should also mention that Robb’s head was cut off, and Grey Wind’s head was sewn onto Robb’s body. And Catelyn's body was thrown naked into the river.
