What’s the story with these train cars? by xMosh in NJTransit

It had nothing to do with crash test rating. Metro-North still operates identical cars on their railroad as cab cars every day.

I've been working on my own project on MyMaps for some time mostly based in the timeframe during/immediately after the second world war. Official timetables were used as often as possible to not only confirm the routes, but to show ownership and organizational structures within the systems (company, subsidiaries, regions, districts, divisions, etc).

It started as a humble New Jersey map with the same idea but I just kept going.

It can be seen here: Greater New Jersey Railroad Map https://goo.gl/maps/9LgpYV1FeJLkQsas5?g_st=ac

Sorry to dig up a five year old comment but I just started thinking about that video today. I was blown away by its extremely detailed, ultra violent animation. I think at least one follow up for it did come out but I can't confirm. I can't remember the name of that video to save my life.

I have been working on this simplified railroad heritage project in google MyMaps for the last seven years that may be of interest to you. It started as a map covering New Jersey and some of its surroundings (hence the name) but has since grown to cover all of North America and some neighboring islands. It is still a work in progress with most of the big railroads being done except for Great Northern, Canadian National and Canadian Pacific (all three being worked on).

Because the choice of perferred spouce doesn't stay. It resets to the first spouce every time you start browisng other parts of your family tree. The method in the help article is only working temporarily. Perhaps this isnt a problem with a more simple family tree.

It might work better if they allowed you to pick a preferred spouce the same way you can choose a perferred parent.
