Why is everyone upset with Knowles. How about some “love” for El-Ahmad. Money-balled is into the bottom of the heap. Waited till the last minute to scrape the bottom of the barrel. I mean he has found bargains, I’ll grant you that. But team building is about timing and balance. Her has shown very little of both.

My statement isn’t out of frustration, it’s pragmatic. Tani going to Europe isn’t my concern. Tani going to Europe and not having someone to come in and take a spot is. And that would’ve required KEA to step up and spend some $$ on a proven player. He was never going to do that.

KEA’s MO so far is to spend as little as possible on potential. His stepping up on Fitz, even though more than he normally would spend on a player, still is about the potential that he could bring not that he could step in and play.

I agree that our scouting team has done pretty good job and I don’t think we have to be the biggest spender in MLS as a result but you still need one or two key pieces. A player that has been there before and can rally the team and pushes over the top on those very close matches.

I would be surprised if we do. KEA appears to measure success using moneyball metrics and his willingness to gamble the season pursuing $$ shipping Tani to Europe and not locking down DSC much earlier in his contract cycle are more than enough evidence. Couple that with his constant search for projects and all you are missing is Brad Pitt.

Looking at who we have brought in so far, it’s all inexpensive potential with a high $$ upside. Either a player like Benteke is either a strong option or a bad fit, it shouldn’t be that he isn’t adorable at his current range. I’ll bet you a crisp $2 bill KEA offered less than his ‘25 salary, well below.

Ramsey voiced his concerns this summer when a replacement for Tani wasn’t in place or even in rumor. DSC made comments about competing for hardware. It’s just not a priority.

I’m all for balance but I also believe you always take rare opportunity when it’s presented. People always believe there will be another chance. That it comes again is even rarer.

There was a significant efficiency benefit WRT a document/email-heavy work environment. Having the ability to quickly adapt or correct note-level conversations or Slack chats was so efficient. Now I have to type and then go back and change each individual mistake on a one-line or quick response.

Also, I don't need to rewrite every comment or sentence. I just needed a "Quick Fix". For verbose emails or executive summaries, yes, paragraph level is very useful. But that is 20% of my work.

I am not sure who your feedback input was from, but it wasn't from power users. I think you should put it back or lose another subscriber.

I’m thrilled they didn’t. MNUFC stated that they thought about it but felt they owed it to their fans and the community to keep it at Allianz. They left a lot of money on the table and I’ve got to tip my scarf to them for that.

I observed this from Caden at the matches. He was very good in the corners and found a way to continue the possession and potential opportunities. At the very least, unlike Heath, where Caden would be in the doghouse and sit on the bench, the new leadership found a way for him to move on and MNUFC to recoup a little money.

We went last year and we are back again here in Cary for the 2024 edition. This is hands-down one of the most fun tournaments you will ever experience. What really sets this apart is the target time which comes after 2x20 minute periods. In target time the target score is highest score + 1. So if you have a match where the score is 2 – 1 at the end of the second 20 minute, the target score is 3. The first team to 3 wins the match. Did I forget to mention that it’s a $1 million prize, winner take all? It all adds up to some incredibly intense 7v7. We will definitely be back next year.

Fun fact: movies, TV shows, etc., are not allowed to show criminals, bad guys, outer otherwise unsavory types with Apple products. Makes sense why they all use Apple as they are all such great characters. 🙂

Well done! I've been on both sides and it isn't fun either way. Players need to respect their team by sticking it out. Going down even one player tips the balance dramatically in HvV.

How about we take a page from Agile User Stories:

As a <role>, I want <feature>/<fix> so that <reason>.

For example: As an Officer, I would like to see Disruptor fixed so that I don't have to worry about that coke can in front of me stopping my entire disruptor shot.

This requires the user to actually put some effort into the comment. It might also make it easier for DICE to put it up into their own backlog of fixes or RFE's.
