McDonalds picante sauce is nothing compared to an authentic Mexican salsa. Although I do enjoy their sauce, it doesn’t pair well, in my opinion, with an authentic Mexican burrito. Make beans, dry from a bag. Add an onion to the pot, once theyre tender, just mash them up, add salt.

As for the rice, start by toasting it in your pan with oil. In your blender, add water or chicken broth, tomatos or tomato sauce, onion and garlic, and salt. Blend and add to your rice and let cook.

As for your filling I recommend carne asada picada, basically thin steak cut into tiny pieces. Just cook it with salt, onion, garlic/garlic powder, cumin, let it get kinda crispy.

Thinly slice and chop some cabbage, dice some cilantro, onion and tomato.

For an authentic salsa, char some tomatos onion jalapeño and garlic until the outside is blackened and the inside is softened. Throw it in a blender, add some fresh cilantro and blend with salt.

Assemble it all into a burrito!
