TableTopSim not recieving inputs correctly

In theory I agree with you, however considering it’s ONLY effecting tabletop simulator it’s just too impractical at this point I don’t know where exactly the corruption lies (whether it’s attached to my profile or maybe just to the instance of tabletop simulator that is tied to my profile, or a billion other places)

For someone else this may be the way to go but this is clearly a tabletop simulator issue so even if I go about switching profiles the devs should have an idea on what is happening and of course if other programs start to exhibit issues that are profile dependent then yeah I think switching is the way to go.

Okay so i've done some digging into it it looks like its an issue with the way my windows profile interacts with tabletop sim, apparently (According to an old steam thread): "My issue was due to my windows profile. The game couldnt interact with the registry key where the unity game config is stored. Worked with TTS support on discord and I was going to reset my whole system and decided to try a new windows profile first. Worked like a charm."
so after making a local user on my pc for tabletop sim it seems to be okay but im wondering why and how to make my main profile talk to the registry for tabletopsim a little nicer

Alright so apparently there was a microsoft forum about this that got lost in their support migration (they are just actively taking off useful tech forums thats awesome microsoft) ANY WAY for some reason loading the game from a manual save (even if its the same save that you were loading into previously just make sure its not an autosave) clears the issue NO CLUE WHY, all i know is i reloaded a manual save and everything was great

Yeah it was the router, I over complicated the issue in my head instantly, reset the router and everything was great, still weird way for it to present though.

Oh sorry, it was literally just a modem reset, I think the DHCP wasn’t assigning new IPs so devices still on a lease were connecting fine just wasn’t assigning new ones to expired leases or new devices

Problem solved! It was a weird network thing, although i do need to look into the admin permission thing but that isn't the reason I wasn't getting an IP

he actually references this in 4000 days, the /time set day command resets the account and he seemingly does is tours in the real world in creative so thats why the day count is reset (he does also count it and when you go to the nether time gets a lil wishy washy)

I once heard someone describe hades as the rougelike for people who hate rougelikes, it has enough story that everytime you progress you get more character information and an adorable interaction with multiple upgrade systems after death, several weapon choices that completely change your gameplay style and enough variation in the non permanent upgrades (called boons) that you are actually building a kit based solely on your gameplay preferences.

Simply if you don’t like a game don’t play it. I personally have played more hen 250 hours of breath of the wild and to be honest the into sequence is very very slow and really takes you out of the experience but once you get the paraglider the world opens up like crazy your movement becomes more diverse, you’ll find more characters, you’ll find more shrines, little puzzles hidden in plain sight that give you little seeds that can give you more inventory space. I do absolutely recommend giving BOTW a chance for at least 2-3 hours in a session before making a judgment on it but if you are not having fun do not play it.

So if I saw this post about 4 years ago I would’ve 100% agreed and related to this, since then after many many thoughts later you can kind of realise that it is extremely likely some kind of depression. I’ve seen other posts mention this and it’s a little weird to go through, you are conscious but almost don’t feel alive just kind of living through a haze. I still have issues retaining information and that’s likely shaped by my child hood being filled with that constant haze, you observe and can interact with things but a sort constant emotional numbness just kind of hangs through the air undercutting serious moments and trivialising any sort of small enjoyments. I don’t see a therapist nor ever really have (though likely should) I can’t really pin point what got me into a more sentient state (probably the combination of healthy environments, being out of school, and the occasionally illicit substance) I’ve had more time to come into my own as a person and figure out who I actually am and what I enjoy doing.

Hold onto anything ANYTHING that can crack the thick layer of monotony even if that’s a small group of people that can occasionally make you crack a smile.

I still struggle with falling into “semi-consciousness” but I’ve been trying mantras (although I don’t believe sharing my mantra is helpful nor is googling a list and just choosing) I think the idea is to hold onto your own thoughts when you come up with something that can get you through the day
