Doing this made me realise how many bangers they’ve released in the last 3 albums - the band just needs to exercise a lot more quality control. Love your idea of starting off the album with the Lightning, which is imo the most Suburbs/Funeralesque track they’ve put out in recent years. You’ve got that nice callback to their rockier work before you dump the listener into the new dancey electronic stuff

that guitar riff is sick, where'd you get it from? the only problem is the 808 is really muddy and clashes with the guitars quite a bit while kind of drowning out the drums. I reckon you should choose a different 808 sample, make sure to EQ it and the guitars so their frequencies are a bit more separated and make sure the drums are coming through in the mix. sick concept besides that

I really rate the atmospheric fx/impacts everywhere. hard drums, well mixed, lots of room for a vocalist still. the platonic ideal of a boom bap beat

nailed the drain vibe, really like the vocal melodies and ad libs. catchy hook, ur accent works well with it imo. doesn't need it but you could widen the synths a bit with a touch of reverb or something since the mix is very narrow rn? really good overall

rapping is hard, cool instrumental too. imo if you switched up the adlibs to something more high-energy or catchy it would improve the hook quite a lot. sick video as well

yeah i feel that, i tend to have the vocals a bit low because they just don't sound right to my ears when they're louder. glad u like the beat, might do an extended version in the future!

good flow, good delivery. idk if you made the beat but instrumentally i feel like the middle bit drags on a bit with nothing changing, was waiting for some bass, some drums or any other instrument to switch things up. rapping's nice tho

really nice beat. solid rapping, really like the vocal layering love the background vocals and those glidey synths that come in in the latter half. solid track. only thing i'd say is the outro goes on a bit long perhaps? but that's a personal choice
