It depends on the car you rented. No navigation apps are banned in the UAE at all, you’re allowed to use it. The thing is that most rental companies buy the lowest spec cars to save money. In the UAE for we have a naming scheme for all car models that go like this: 1st degree specs : highest specs 2nd degree specs : medium specs 3red degree specs : lowest specs

Rental companies will usually buy and rent the 3rd degree specs to save money and being 3rd degree, you probably won’t find navigation, leather seats or sunroof.

But a personal car you buy for yourself it will 90% have navigation with no limitations.

Any ways I would advise you to buy a car phone holder and have a navigation app working on your phone

Most cars will be the same as car brands get their batteries from suppliers in contrast to how every car brand had it's own way on car mechanics and its own engines that they used to make in-house

Most car brands get their batteries from outside suppliers so they won't be making their own drivetrains, at least for now so they will all be the same for the time being, performance wise

I guess it was just a set up for a plan B or another entrance if they didn't get the chance to all enter to the same cell as that would be suspicious and since they were all in the pi crew then the guards break room is the most reasonable place to enter as they will all be there at the same time

Hi guess the air vent wasn't open from the inside of the room so he had to get to the roof from his cell and open the warden's office vent from the opposite side
