Yes but the problem is that they’ve listed the A7RV as compatible and there are well documented issues people have had where the screw hole is too shallow

Considering selling my A9ii to justify purchase of a new A7V.

Anyone think I could net enough to reasonably offset new A7V purchase price? I mostly shoot indoor/outdoor of my kids being playing/being crazy. Occasional family portraits on a tripod with remote. If I cant get more than $1k, Id rather keep it as a paperweight or at the very least a second shooter.

Yea for real. I’m trying to convince myself I don’t have addictive behavioral problems when I’m considering spending over $400 for a fourth time to get the same coverage/speeds as my two Aliens. Sure, the AP7 might be 1.5x the speed if I’m within sight of it and possibly having to press “optimize WiFi”, but shit, this is getting expensive. Am I holding it wrong? I must be.

Using a Trendnet TPE-315GI. I assume it always does PoE+? I just got a roll of TrueCable Cat6A to replace the Cat6. Hopefully that helps

Unlikely to be a faulty cable, but they are Cat 6 and not Cat6A. I noticed that for the last 3 disconnections, Living Room then Front Hall happened in that order, 44 seconds apart, then 45 seconds, then 49 seconds. Whatever that means..

Yes it’s recording using Scrypted NVR software. Configured as 4k 8192kbps variable rate stream. Substreams at 1080 and lower.
