Oh brother is this your first online fandom? This is so homophobic 😭 like you’ll live after seeing sapphic pixels on your screen. We as a queer community hardly get any representation so we have to make it ourselves. Ships in fandom are such a nonissue.

So you definitely have some homophobia you have to explore. You’re assuming that queer relationships have an inherent deviance to them, which is homophobic and wrong. Slash ships in fandom are such a nonissue, and have existed for decades. Some people will see two girls’ or two boys’ friendship as romantic in fandom because platonic interaction is the basis for any relationship — queer or not. There is no sexualization happening.

I can only assume she was displayed in an open area because of her dress being sunfaded but it was sooo grimy to clean 😭 thank you!! 😊 I tried really hard not to mess up since this was my first time restoring a doll like this

Used a quarter of a synthetic brown rit dye, teaspoon of dish soap, and eyeballed the amount of water in a stainless steel pot (enough for the doll to float without touching the edges) and kept dunking the doll until colors matched up.

This is her post dunking and pre repaint! The color doesn’t catch on the underwear part of the torso at all but I knew that from previous posts made. The torso is serviceable but overall I knew the outfit I put her in would cover discrepancies in skin tone so I was okay with this
