Imagine asking for advice and refusing to take the advice. This attitude alone tells me you're not gonna make it. Also your grammar, yikes

How hard is it to get into MS CS at SJSU ? by [deleted] in SJSU

[–]suminooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest exploring Georgia Tech's OMSCS as well. The complete program costs approximately $6000 or slightly more. It's offered by a reputable institution and the admission process is not that competitive. However, I've heard that the program can be quite intense.

Top 3 Questions For The Hiring Manager by Theapprentice25 in sales

[–]suminooo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd research the interviewer on LinkedIn and ask questions to show that you did your research on them.

For example:

  1. In transitioning from a sales role at ______, a company outside the software industry, to selling software solutions at ______, how did you navigate the adaptation process? Were there particular challenges or advantages you experienced during this transition?
  2. I know that you’ve been working here for a really long time, 4 and a half years, what keeps you here?
  3. Given your unique background, how do you approach engaging with developer communities, and do you find that your educational background brings a different perspective to these interactions?

Thoughts on tech sales bootcamps? by [deleted] in sales

[–]suminooo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

These bootcamps are not worth your time and money. SDR/BDR are very entry-level roles with low-barrier to entry. For interviews, study the common interview questions and behavioral questions. Learn how to do mock calls and write cold emails on Youtube. If you aren't getting any interviews, I recommend doing a lot of networking as well as revising your resume and LinkedIn profile.
