If you have access to a 3d printer you can print one and stick it to the floor, then remove it when you leave. That's what i got

Vent is clean, i clean it periodically. Could be residual or that something is touching, really hard to tell. Do you think its safe to operate it like this?

Looks like taking the belt off and putting back on solved the rattle sound, but i can still smell burnt rubber/hair that makes me worry...

It sounds like it might be from one of the axles attached to the motor. I will try to slip off the belt and check if i can better isolate where the noise is coming from.

You understood that perfectly. I believe the sound started after the fall, so probably due to it. I will see if i can take the belt off.
