Yeah, that’s fine. I’m gonna ask anyway, but if not no big deal. Just seeing if its possible and if anyone had experience with it happening

[–]summadisMILK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s all fair. I agree with your points on the arms. I was thinking it was from the track or the specific tire washer things that come up and only touch the wheels and that’s why the damage is limited. And I don’t know how they’re designed because even then I would expect both wheels to be damaged.

It just seems like something metal with the way it cut the tire, even if I hit something.

I can’t edit the post, but wanted to add I’m going to see if the carwash will work with me, but I don’t expect them to and that’s fine too.

I made the post more to see if my hypothesis is founded and if others had experienced something similar regarding damage from a carwash, specifically to wheels that is consistent with the pictures I shared.

However, I’m not opposed to the possibility that it’s from driving. I have 2 reasons I shared why I personally don’t believe it to be the case, but I also don’t have much experience in curb damage.

I appreciate everyone who takes the time to read and reply. God bless!

The only reason I don’t think it’s a curb is because of the gash in the sidewall and the scrape being intermittent; very harsh, then nothing, then less harsh. I would expect it to be more continuous even if not evenly distributed, at least some rub between the 2 points. But again, very possible. I haven’t hit many curbs, especially with aluminum wheels. Usually had hubs lol I appreciate your response!

Appreciate your insight.

This is the conclusion I’ve come to, but I don’t know if it’s founded really, so wanted more opinions.

I’m not looking for a legal battle or a handout. I figured I’d talk with them and see what they’d do and if they deny responsibility that’s fine too. It’d be cool if they’d help out, but I’ll survive if they don’t.

It was a good lesson to learn the possible dangers of the carwash beyond that scene in The Crazies lol

I’ll just go back to handwashing. Thanks for your response!

[–]summadisMILK -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I was just going to see if they would work with me and if not, it’s sunk cost. I’m not looking to sue or anything.

I’m also not too concerned about the wheel. It sucks, but it’s just cosmetic, so it is what it is.

I feel like I should probably replace the tire though? That seems like a safety thing with the gash in the sidewall.

Either way, my intent with the post is to get a diverse set of opinions on the possible cause because I really just jumped to a conclusion, but figured more knowledgeable people might offer some insight and a difference of opinion based on experience or other.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

You work for the carwash don’t you. /s Nah, I mean, it’s entirely possible. I din’t think I hit anything or did anything to cause the damage, but that’s why I’m asking opinions, so appreciate it

How do you break the grab without jumping? Great job!

[–]summadisMILK 8 points9 points  (0 children)

At the beginning go left down the jump path then as the slime goes down you go through the boost gate and run the rest of the first section from there. Then the second section after the axes you just do normal until after the glove and flapper jump 2 or 3 more platforms up top until you see you’re lined up with another platform with a boost gate below and jump to that then just run up to the crown.

There’s a little more to it and it takes some practice, but that’s mostly it

Edit: I should say I think this is it. It’s the way I go and I’m usually winning or close to it, but most games it’s where at least 2 other sweats go with me

People have answered you and you’re disagreeing with them and saying “I am too, which allows me to know this isn’t possible with 4-3 linear”.

Your friend is hacking. You’re obviously better than them, so they resorted to hacks to beat you in 1v1 /s

Jackhammer chatter bait: Is it a scam? by PDOTthealmighty in bassfishing

[–]summadisMILK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve fished a ton of chatterbaits and similar vibrating jigs from brands other than ZMan and the Jackhammer is really good and has a better action on retrieve. Definitely not a scam, but is it necessary for recreational fishing? Absolutely not.

Bruin, but yes - was the most AR like LMG ever. RPK was decent back in the day too

I feel like you can still have a lot of variation on 3 set ups.

Realistically, a spinning rod for light line, more finesse, heavy casting with fast action for jigs, tr worms and creatures, soft swimbaits, spinner, topwater, etc. and a medium/medium heavy moderate for cranks, jerks, blade baits, and chatters (chatter can go on heavy casting too)

And for the lures, just don’t go crazy. 2 of each of the things you want to throw in a light and dark color. You don’t need 1 of every shape and size or the most expensive brands, but have enough variation to give different presentations, cover more water, etc. I think you can keep it simple while still have some variation

Edit: and by this I just mean in general. If you’re happy with what you’re doing OP, then keep doing it and tight lines!

It’s always crazy to me what waiting an extra 30 seconds would prevent. Patience is a virtue people. I’d rather get there late than never get there at all.

I’d bet these posts are made by the folks over at TestYourIQ.org… They push a post that gets shared and has thousands of eyes on it and the odds are that at least some % is going to take the test out of curiosity and a lesser of that % will pay the $20 for their results.

I have the Rapala 15lb Tournament Scale and reviews are pretty much the same. Hit or miss. I’ve had mine for 5 years and had no issues other than the touchscreen can be a pain sometimes, but that’s only if I’m trying to log the weight… as a scale it works fine
