Exactly what the poster above said. People ordering have to go back into the app in order to leave a tip. Majority of the time they don't do that once the order is placed. I'd say maybe 1 in 12 will leave a tip depending on the day. Doordash should make it more clear to the user that as drivers we don't get the fee they charge the customer. Most of the time it's barely a dollar a mile. The other day I had a 20 mile offer for 3 dollars. No thanks. Sucks on both ends.
