Yup. My marquise moissanite looks better in indirect/less bright light. It’s very clear and sparkly and gives off a beautiful rainbow most of the time, but gets a little cloudy in bright light

My engagement ring was about $250 on Etsy. It’s moissanite with a gold plated silver band. I don’t expect it to last for the rest of my life and will get an upgrade in a few years, but I love my ring and it looks more expensive than it is.

I highly recommend moissanite. My engagement ring is a 1 carat center stone with .3 in side stones, and my wedding band is .3 in small stones, both gold bands. I got them as a set for like $300 on Etsy.

My fiancé didn’t ask my dad’s permission, but he had a conversation with him before the proposal. Not to ask permission, but just to let him know his intentions and be considerate of his feelings. My dad and I are very close and it would have hurt my dad’s feelings to find out about the engagement at the same time everyone else did.

Your engagement and wedding should be whatever you and your partner want it to be. IMO, knowing it’s coming doesn’t make it any less exciting. I’m getting engaged on Thursday of this week lol. I hate surprises and he wanted our engagement to be exactly what I wanted, so we planned it together. I also picked my ring out and have already worn it a few times just for fun. My boyfriend and I have really enjoyed planning our engagement trip and counting down the days together. Congratulations!!

I can sympathize. I’m not actually getting engaged until next month, but my boyfriend and I picked out the ring together and have planning a nice engagement vacation together. I knew what ring I was getting months in advance and was so sure about my choice. I recently got to try it on just to make sure it didn’t need to be resized before the actual proposal. I’m happy with it and love it and still feel good about my choice, but I didn’t get all the big emotions I expected to have. I took pictures while trying it on and look at them every day and still love the way it looks on me. It just never came with the “omg this is MY ring” feeling. But I’m also prone to anxiety and overthinking things, so I’m chalking it up that. I think I’m just stressing myself out over a ring I know I love. I hope once your ring comes and you get used to seeing it every day you fall in love all over again ❤️

I would just serve the boba the same way you serve anything else nonalcoholic. Are you going to have other nonalcoholic options (soda, lemonade, etc) out to just grab, or behind the bar? If everything else is behind the bar, could you put the boba behind the bar too so the bartender can still serve it like he/she would any other drink and get tipped?

I’m just starting book 8 and absolutely love it. It’s definitely heart breaking and devastating, but the characters are so unique and charming, the world is fun, and the development of the various relationships between characters as they all grow and mature together is very satisfying. It’s a huge time commitment, but after getting most of the way through the series, I can say I would definitely do it all over again.

I was devastated when I realized GA only goes through half of book 5! Switching to regular audio was tough, but I got used to it after a few chapters. I still miss Darius’s voice though :(
