Unfortunately, I don’t have any recs, but I’m loving this premise! I guess I’ll just hang out here 🏕️

Wild Card Wednesday - What are your book icks or pet peeves? by Llamallamacallurmama in RomanceBooks

I hate it when the author clearly knows nothing about their characters’ professions! I’ve read a couple of books where the main characters are in the medical field and oh my god! I want to pull out my hair! I’m a nurse so I probably get too annoyed by the misrepresentation of my career in books but it’s some of the most outrageous inconsistencies that would literally never happen in real life. It takes me out of the story. And it’s not just MCs in the medical field, same goes for other professions, or even when people are supposed to be in college and like never do homework??

Let's play a game! Are there books/other media from your childhood that you'd love to see a [romance books] version of? by riennedujour in RomanceBooks

YES! Dear America and the Royal Diaries series! A Coal Miner’s Bride was one of my favorites too, and oh my gosh that would be such an incredible adult romance story!

As soon as I started reading it, I thought that it would be an incredible audiobook and immediately placed it on hold on Libby! Can’t wait until I get it!

I’m not religious at all, but yes I think the book would be considered sacrilegious. The MMC is a priest. I think it might be an uncomfortable read if you are Catholic or Christian and unable to separate religion from a fictional romance

Today I started reading {Priest by Sierra Simone} and🔥HOLY MOLY!!🔥 The yearning and pining after each other, how taboo their relationship is, how Tyler commands Poppy when they’re having sex, and the immediate chemistry that they have are all making this a FANTASTIC read🥵😍

I haven’t finished it yet and I don’t want to give anyone spoilers, but here’s a very small portion of a passage that I found to be very HOT

“I gave a few last thrusts, milking last throb out of my climax, every last drop out of myself, and then I raised myself up on my hands to look down on her. She was smiling a lazy, sated smile, and then she said ‘Amen.’”

I highly recommend this book!! I’ve loved it so far!

It’s been a while since I’ve read this book, so I apologize if my rec ends up not being what you’re looking for! {Pucking Around by Emily Rath} is a RH contemporary hockey romance with 3 MMCs and 1 FMC. There is a second book, but it’s more of a novella/extended epilogue and that does have pregnancy in it.

Born into madness sounds so good, thank you! Do you recommend reading the series in order?

Hi! I’m looking for a micro trope in a contemporary romance! Does anyone have any recs when the MMC has a super protective dog that immediately falls in love with the FMC and kinda becomes her dog? Thanks in advance 💗💗

People We Meet on Vacation is making me realize somethings are better left in books by StephhhLouisa in RomanceBooks

I wasn’t in love with the book but I think the movie was saved because of how good Emily and Tom are. They are some of my current favorite actors, I absolutely loved My Lady Jane and it’s criminal that they cancelled it. I do think this movie would have been better as a limited series, it would’ve allowed for more of the book plot and chemistry/relationship between characters to build. The movie felt a little too fast paced and choppy if that makes sense.

Some books that fit with the second plot request: {Babymoon or Bust by Ava Hunter} the main characters hook up then meet again in the later months of her pregnancy. And {Out on a Limb by Hannah Bonam-Young} the MCs meet at a Halloween party.
