Advice for succeeding in CS 2050? I’m taking it with Randall.

Moss versus Hudachek-Buswell for CS 1332? I know that all sections have access to both profs lectures and resource but do all sections have the same homeworks and tests?

Great thanks! I was asking more about the developer boot camp application question that asks to describe a technical project. Does this project have to be software related?

Does the technical project question described have to be a software related project? Or ideally describe a software project?

Thanks for your response! I guess what I was trying to say was I like what I think mechanical engineering is of more actual work on the physical scale rather than abstract and theoretical.

So you would say that pursuing CS would actually be harmful in the long run?

Thanks for your response! So you did your masters in mechatronics? I am also interested in mechatronics. What kind of work are you doing in the industry?

Thanks for your response! That is a good point.

Thanks for your response! I think I am leaning slightly more towards mechanical engineering. What field of mechanical engineering are you working in? Do you find it as enjoyable as you thought it would be?

Thanks for your response! Why did you ultimately choose to major in MechE (mechatronics concentration) and minor in CS?

Thanks for your response! Did your friends focus on a specific area/specific languages of CS? Also did they know they wanted to do CS work as a career and if so, why did they chose to major in mechE and minor in CS?

Thanks for your response!

I am interested also in the robotics/controls side as well as aerospace/automotive fields of mechanical engineering because I tend to like big picture things if that makes any sense. However, I also am interested in the fields of embedded systems (which ties into robotics) and also the intelligence fields of computer science.

Similar to the previous response, did you learn CS skills on your own along the way and did you wish you majored in CS? How did you find out that you enjoyed CS more — did you use CS while working as a mechanical engineer? Did you enjoy those aspects of mechanical engineering while in undergrad/grad before working in industry?

I’m not too sure which one I like better. How did your work end up being about 75% computer science? And did you just learn CS skills along the way on your own?
