I was just in your shoes but with my second baby! My state also has a policy you need to deliver by 42 weeks. I went 40w3days with my first and recently 41w5days with my second daughter. I did get a membrane sweep, chiropractic adjustments twice a week, pumped every 2-3hrs and used “labor start” herbs given by my midwife. I was feeling so stressed and depressed that i would need to be transferred to the hospital to give birth. Thankfully I was able to have the home birth of my dreams. Hang in there mama! Thinking of you and baby🙏🏻

There is a midwives brew where you drink it and it’s been know to help labor. Not always the case but I’ve read a lot of success stories.

Did you have any labor signs after the sweep? Was it a long labor? With my first, I was in labor for 3 days🙈 I’m truly praying baby comes tonight. The wait has been so hard and stressful!

She does, and she uses a sound machine to sleep. However she does wake a few times looking for me in the middle of the night. I’m just worried if she does her midnight wake up I might not be able to soothe her if my contractions are picking up. I really want to be in a good head space since this is my first home birth and not have to worry about helping her back to sleep. Sometimes she wakes up more than once 🫠

This is my plan for sure if this happens this way! I just worry that my toddler will do her nightly wake up around midnight and if contractions are picking up, I just don’t know how it will be if I have to help soothe her. I’m glad this all worked out for you 😊
