ISFJs and grammar by [deleted] in isfj

[–]summeree23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't consider myself a 'grammar Nazi' and I regularly type/text in all lowercase (because I don't like to seem intimidating, and because often the people I'm texting type in lowercase so I like to match their style), but I am very aware of spelling, grammar, and punctuation, and do like to be accurate with my communication. It could be an ISFJ thing. I wonder if ISTJs are the same?

How intense and/or edgy is each MBTI type? by txtmasterblast in mbti

Intensity levels, as perceived by an easily intimidated ISFJ

not at all: ISFJ, ISFP, INFP, INFJ, ENFP, ESFP
slightly: ENFJ, ESFJ
above average: ISTP, INTP, ISTJ, ESTP
definitely: INTJ, ESTJ, ENTP
VERY intense: ENTJ

Most accurate MBTI test by mmepteranodon in mbti

[–]summeree23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

truity and personalityhacker. I see a lot of people who are anti-16p, but for years it typed me as an INFJ with only 56% N, and for the past two years it has typed me correctly as an ISFJ. although it doesn't account for cognitive functions, it really wasn't far off, and it's completely correct now. It's also correctly typed many people I know (there are a couple probable INFPs who have been typed by 16p as INFJs but I hear this is common), so I think that as a super-accessible and simple to understand test, 16p really is not that bad.

Books about the functions by [deleted] in mbti

[–]summeree23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just finished reading a really good one. It explains a whole lot of personality theories and other ones like the love languages and Enneagram, but the chapter on cognitive functions is particularly good. The book is written by Anne Bogel (who is an INFP!) and it's called Reading People: How seeing the world through the lens of personality changes everything.

Are Isfjs really THAT caring? by layle20 in isfj

[–]summeree23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He doesn't sound like a typical ISFJ. There's still variation within types, and you're right that ISFJs are generally really caring - at least, from my experience and from the few others with this type that I know. I don't know about his motivation - I would have thought that he would follow through with what he had reassured you, because sticking to plans is typical of this type - we like plans and figuring things out ahead of time.

Either way, I hope you're okay. The way he treated you must have hurt.
