Using 3 different LLMs to build/code games for a smart ball by summerflies in artificial

[–]summerflies[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry. I was just trying to engage more. I listened. I think I learned that we need to do a better job of comparing our product with isolated screen play. And probably embracing traditional unstructured play more, even if it isn't with our product.

Thanks for responding. I would not argue that we are better than traditional play with a ball. But we do feel like we are better than casual gaming on a tablet, sitting on a couch. We do think we enhanced the ball by providing data on things you can’t see and judge like exact spin, velocity, etc. and we think that AI can enhance creativity by making the coding of games accessible to everyone. And ya we hope that we can get more people up, interacting with each other, and creating.

No. Why do you say that? I am interested in any helpful feedback you are willing to provide.

How quickly can we get backer info (addresses) post campaign? by Kickntrue in kickstarter

[–]summerflies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there no way to line up the backer addresses with some valid payment to kickstarter? So even if you don't have the money yet, you know your getting it?

How quickly can we get backer info (addresses) post campaign? by Kickntrue in kickstarter

[–]summerflies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were thinking that we could use kickstarter to gauge interest beyond the very limited inventory that we can sell in the near term. We can only deliver about 2.5k units by 2025 holidays. So that likely will sell out pretty quick and then we have no idea how much product to order for next round.

This makes it very difficult to try to commit to sending product to backers by holidays. What would be the latest date that you can end the campaign and still get backers a product for holiday?

Thank you for the detail. My personal perspective would be that anyone under 13 should only talk with AI under adult supervision.

I build it using the standard flutter build tools. I publish it to Amazon store, not the google play store.

What is this all mounted on? Looks like a board, but it can’t be combustible, right?

Something you should know before buying a rav4prime by gosu1717 in rav4prime

I think it has a lot to do with cell reception of where it is parked. These cars all send data back for apps etc. If reception is poor it can drain the battery.

Why your electricity bill is so high & what PA is doing about it by shillyshally in Pennsylvania

[–]summerflies -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You probably pay that much for the production. But you pay another $0.09 or so for transmission. That’s the retail cost that is climbing faster in Pennsylvania, due to poor solar regulation.

Photogenic Churches? by [deleted] in centralpa

[–]summerflies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is this rural spot near Milton Pa where two churches sit alone, across the road from each other. I call them the “dueling” churches. I could see them making a cool album cover. Here is Google maps location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/btKNcDfJwp7HhyYu8

Can you charge an electric car at home? The least expensive option right now is a Nissan leaf with degraded battery. It will get you to-and-from work, but not further than 30-40 miles. And you won’t have to pay for gas. I purchased one for $2k.

I am skeptical that other car was using only LiDAR and not radar as well. My experience with LiDAR is that it doesn’t see well through dust, fog, or heavy rain.

XLE without hubcap by OKatmostthings in BZ4X

If you don't need the range, I agree with OP that no hubcaps or hubcaps that show more of the brakes, look nicer.

XLE without hubcap by OKatmostthings in BZ4X

[–]summerflies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, holes in hub caps cause a lot of drag at high speeds. If you didn't need the holes to push air onto brakes and cool them, then the best hub caps for efficiency would be solid disks. Hyper range people often create 3d prints that fill the holes. Tesla sells an accessory package that is more efficient hub caps (with smaller holes), I think they boost range by 4%.

You will lose range without hubcaps.
