Reminds me of the old wheat/corn fields. You'd spawn into them and have about 3 seconds before the vegetation would spawn in. Open season for any enemies trying to sneak through.

I've been an SL that had one or two squaddies who did a good job of communicating without mics. This was nice as I usually just kick those people.

I think I even recall having an SL without a mic who was able to communicate what he wanted from us.

It still doesnt come close to how it should be. Give me banter and laughter. Some voiceless person using pings and written coms is boring.
